A Little Bit

A Little Bit

Lets see you find your way out of this one,
when theres nowhere left to hide,
and a sign you pass says:
don't look back son just keep moving on.

It seems to you that it's always been there,
that burn in the back of your mind.
That says friends don't last you have to push,
before it comes to shove.

A little bit of grief aint hard to find,
and it sure does seem to suit your style.
Running away won't save your soul but it just might save your life.

A little bit of grief aint hard to find,
and it's ruts are running through your mind,
Give it an inch and you'll die in style
with your baggage by your side.

Well a thousand miles of road won't hide you,
from an enemy inside.
Blame your friends if that's what you have to do,
to keep yourself alive.

Well a seedy smile will pass for lovin'
when it's been more than a while.
Since the dawning light of morning's found you lying by her side.
